Steps to Add a Location:

  1. Access Your Tour:

    • Once you log in to your touring.studio account, you will see a map, along with options to manage your tour, locations, routes, tracks, and costs.
  2. Click on "Add a Location":

    • On the left-hand side of the screen, you will see a section labeled "Locations." Below it, there is a button titled "Add a Location". Click on this button to begin adding a new waypoint to your tour.
  3. Search for a Location:

    • In the panel that appears on the right-hand side, you'll see a search bar titled "Search for a new address". Here, you can type the name of a location (address or point of interest) that you'd like to add. touring.studio will automatically show a list of suggestions as you type.
  4. Set Location Coordinates:

    • You can also manually select a location on the map to set the coordinates for your waypoint. Simply click on the map to place a pin at the exact location where you want to stop.
  5. Fill in Details:

    • Location Name: Enter the name of the location (e.g., "Eiffel Tower" or "Grand Canyon").
    • Location Type: Choose the type of location from the dropdown menu (e.g., Activity, Landmark, Hotel, etc.).
    • Location Description: Provide a short description of the location, such as what makes it special or why you're visiting.
    • Additional Notes: You can add any additional notes for your reference, such as opening hours or tips for visiting.
  6. Add Date and Time (Optional):

    • If you have a specific date and time for your visit, select it using the Date and Time picker. If the date and time are flexible, you can skip this step.
  7. Ticket Price (Optional):

    • If the location has an entrance fee or any associated ticket costs, you can enter the price in the Ticket Price field. This is optional and can be left as 0 if there are no fees.
  8. Add Links (Optional):

    • Under the "Links" section, you can add relevant links to websites, articles, or resources related to the location. For example, you could add a link to the official site for the location, or a helpful travel guide.
  9. Save Your Location:

    • After filling out the necessary details, click the "Save Location" button at the bottom. This will add the location to your itinerary and place it on the map.

Additional Tips:

  • Multiple Locations: You can add as many locations as you like to your tour by repeating the above steps.
  • Customize Your Map: You can change the map style from the dropdown menu (e.g., satellite view, terrain view) to better visualize your locations.
  • Plan Your Route: Once you add locations, you can further organize them by creating routes or tracks to define the order and structure of your journey.
